Achter de sluier. Orig. 48 cm x 38 cm (2004)

De vrouw ontmoet tijdens een trance-reis haar zielengroep. Zij komen vanuit de “Spirituele Zon”, “De Lichtbron” naar haar toe en de voorste zielsverwant draagt een mand waar sterren en lichtenergie uit worden gestrooid naar de vrouw. Door contact met “Moeder Aarde” te houden laat ze haar hand rusten op de boomstam naast haar. De uil staat symbool voor de nacht en de dag, de onzichtbare en zichtbare dimensies. De vlinders staan symbool voor transformatie de ziel die uiteindelijk het stoffelijke lichaam verlaat en teruggaat naar de “Lichtbron”. De twee dimensies zijn verbonden d.m.v. de veren die stromen vanuit de zielengroep, De pasteltinten en vollere kleuren in het werk staan voor de onstoffelijke en stoffelijke wereld.

In a moment of trance, the indian woman meets her group of kindred spirits.
They are coming out of the “Spiritual Sun” “the Source of Light” towards the woman. In front of the group there is a person who holds a basket with luminous star-energy and straws it towards the woman. To have contact with the earth, she leans her hand on the treetrunk. The owl is the symbol of the day and night and also of the visible and unvisible dimensions. The butterflies symbolize the tranformation of the soul that rises out of the body and returns to the “Source of Light”. The two dimensions are connected with an energy- line of lightning feathers. The material and immaterial world is also symbolized in the pastel and more coloured parts of the image.
