De elementen Lucht en Aarde. Orig. 38 cm x 28 cm (2003)
Het luchtwezen wat vanuit de westelijke windrichting zich verbindt met de boom die met haar is mee gegroeid. Alles laat zich meevoeren en buigen met de lucht en haar wervelingen. Het zaad, bloemen, vlinders en energieën. Het meisje bij de boom laat zich strelen door de wind en verbindt zich met Moeder-Aarde, wat ook gesymboliseerd wordt door de schildpad. De vlakken op haar schild staan voor de verschillende continenten van de aarde.

From the westerly wind-direction an “Air-Spirit” allies with the tree that is bend and grown with the wind. The seeds, flowers, butterflies and all the energy is blowing in the wind and find their way to make new life again.
The girl near the tree lets herself be caressed by the wind and allies with the earth-energy. The turtle under the tree is also a strong symbol given by the Native- people to “Mother Earth”. The ornaments on her shell symbolize the continents of North-America.
